 How to Save Money

There are many ways to save money that you might miss. Sometimes, it is just a little money to save but when you add everything up by the end of the year, it will surprise you. Here are some tips:

- Collect coupons: There are many coupons in newspapers. It might save you 1 or 2 bucks for an item. But it will save you up to 20 bucks for each time you go to shop.

- Bundle services: For example TV cable/Internet/and phone; multiple cars insurance; cars and house insurance… You will see the difference in your bills next month. You might want to ask for it before you order the service. Many insurance companies usually offer their client discount if they purchase many policies.

- Watch out for credit card balance: With tight budget, you might want to check your credit card balance more frequently so that by the end of the month you don’t have to pay much for extremely high interest charges. If you already have a credit card balance then transfer to a card with a low interest rate. Additionally, find a card that does not charge an annual fee. One little tip to save: Try to pay off the credit card with highest interest rate first, then pay off others.

- Make phone calls during nights and weekends to lower your cell phone bills. For extra minutes from your current plan, you usually have to pay about 25 cents per minute.

- Sale your old stuff online: Become an ebay seller and sell your stuff. It is easy and fun experience.

- Find some restaurants where kids eat free.

- Become a wholesale member: You spend $45 for one year Costco membership but you can save more than $45 per year. For example, formula and diapers are sold cheaper than other stores like Babiesrus or CVS. If you have a small-size family, you might want to share the membership with another family.
